Abstract
The main aim of this paper is to present selected outcomes of two research projects conducted in municipal locations of the southern Wielkopolska region of Poland by the research team of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, the ROK Culture Observatory, under supervision of the author. The research projects were focused on identifying cultural resources, deficits, and potentials of selected small towns.
